For the Pendix eDrive, there are only a few mounting requirements that you as a bicycle manufacturer must observe. If these are met, you hit the jackpot, because there is no need for time-consuming pedelec range planning. No frame adaptation is necessary for our motor or batteries, so you can use your bicycle models twice. Each of your bicycle models is also available as a pedelec at the same time and you can react quickly to customer demand thanks to the simple attachment. All this without minimum order quantities, cost-intensive warehousing or pre-ordering!

Every person is individual, and this is the same with the choice of assistance levels on a pedelec. Some want maximum motor power while others just need a little tailwind on the uphill. Our drive concept leaves nothing to be desired: in the Pendix.bike PRO app, everyone can set their individual drive profile. In addition, the bike can also be ridden with the assistance switched off and the motor can only be switched on when going uphill.
The components of the Pendix eDrive.
The Pendix eDrive consists of the battery (ePower) and the motor (eMachine).
The Pendix eMachine
- Silent and maintenance-free system
Thanks to the gearless motor, no maintenance is required. Your customers can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, because riding without a gearbox also means riding silently. - Optimal mounting position on the bicycle due to the centre motor
Mounted in the centre of the bicycle, the additional weight of the motor is evenly distributed. Due to the low centre of gravity, your customers' riding experience is comfortable and safe. - Water and dust resistant according to IP65
Whether rain, snow or sun, our eMachine supports the rider in all weather conditions. If the bike is left in the cellar over the winter, even dust cannot harm the Pendix. - No noticeable pedalling resistance when the motor is switched off or the battery is empty
The user decides for himself when he wants to switch on the ePower. You can switch between ePower and no ePower as the mood takes you. When the battery is switched off or empty, the natural pedalling feel is retained, just like on a conventional bicycle. - Can be combined with all shifting and braking systems
The motor is located on the left side of the bicycle and is therefore independent. Your product variety remains the same with the Pendix eDrive.
Pendix ePower
For ideal support, there is a choice of two battery variants in combination with the Pendix motor. A Blutooth interface on all batteries allows connection to the free Pendix.bike PRO app for additional information. The app also has secure access for Pendix OEM and dealers to obtain detailed information about the system, set the wheel size or carry out a fault analysis.
